Disneyland Paris, a symbol of magic and escape, recently introduced a new pricing policy known as “dynamic”. Inspired by airline and SNCF practices, this method adjusts prices according to demand. Until now, Disneyland Paris rates varied according to the period (weekends, vacations, etc.), but remained fixed on the same day. Now, with dynamic pricing, prices will evolve according to demand: the more popular a day is, the higher the price.
- Tickets starting from 50 euros: The least popular periods offer attractive rates for a day in the park.
- A ceiling of 119 euros (or more): During peak periods, such as weekends or certain key dates, prices will reach a maximum of 119 euros for a day, with the exception of special events such as July 14, Halloween or New Year’s Eve, when exclusive shows are organized.
According to Disneyland Paris, this pricing structure will enable visitors to better anticipate their spending. The park now offers price visibility for the next 18 months (compared with 12 months previously). This transparency makes it easier to plan ahead and compare different options.
Why this change?
Disneyland Paris management explains that this new policy meets two main objectives:
1- Improving the guest experience: By encouraging guests to choose off-peak periods, the park hopes to smooth the flow of visitors and make the experience more enjoyable for all.
2- Optimize capacity management: As pricing specialist Michaël Mansard points out, “theme parks need to manage their capacity to avoid saturation. This system smoothes demand and maximizes infrastructure utilization”.
The park points out that 30% of the dates offered will be priced at 65 euros or less for an adult day ticket, which can represent a real opportunity for families and groups.
